Facility for dioxin-contaminated children – Can Tho City Social Work Center

After 9 months of construction, Can Tho City’s facility for children affected by dioxin was officially put into use. The project received a total investment capital of nearly 7 billion Vietnam dong and spans a usable area of 960 square meters across three floors.
Specifically, the 1st floor (with 2 rooms) is dedicated to mentally ill children, the 2nd floor (with 3 rooms) serves children with cerebral palsy and female children, and the 3rd floor (with 2 rooms) accommodates a group of male children.
The completion and opening of this new facility brought joy and excitement to the collective of officials, workers, and dioxin-infected children in Can Tho City, as it replaced the old degraded building.
